The Trend Continues...

I cannot believe it, but I got an 'A' in Civil Procedure as well. I just learned of this last night after expecting to get at best a 'B' on that exam, given that I did not feel at all comfortable with my performance on the exam. I'm rather surprised I did as well as I did, but am very happy to have the grade that I do. I'm still waiting on the results of two exams. I also got an honors pass in Legal Research and Writing, but that doesn't count toward my GPA. I'll let you all know when I get those grades and then I can forget about this entire semester.

Starting off Exam Grades with a Bang!

My first grade received came in today. It was for Property and I got an 'A'. I am so damn happy. That is no doubt my best class and best exam all year, and the one I felt second most confident about. The one I felt most confident about was Con Law, but that is tossed into the air because everyone else thought it was pretty easy too. The atomic skullcrushers Civ. Pro. and Contracts are the ones I'm worried about. I have no clue how I did on either of them, but at least I have a little bit of a cushion with the 'A' in Property. I enjoyed the semester even though I was totally exhausted from it.

Right now I'm working at a prosecutor's office. I enjoy it there quite a bit. On my first day I was writing warrant requests and on my second I was participating in pre-trial conferences with defendants. I feel like crim law is definitely something I want to do. Now the only question remains is, can I build the necessary skills and judgment to do it. I believe the answer is yes, but only time will tell.
