Good news / bad news...

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, but it's been really crazy around here lately and I haven't had much time. I got one more law school decision and got rejected at University of Detroit Mercy. I have no clue in hell as to how I got accepted at MSU and rejected at U of D, but I hear wierd stuff like this happens all the time. I guess the bad news is then, that I got rejected from my safety school. Oh well, their loss.

The good news is that my name just appeared in the Wayne State directory today as being in the juris doctor day program, so I guess that's a pretty good sign that I got accepted! Wayne is my first choice and barring a generous scholarship from Seattle or a 1/3-1/2 scholarship to Case Western, I'll be going there. I'm really happy about this, and I'll be even happier when the official letter arrives to confirm this.

I got accepted at Michigan State! That's an awesome college with a great intellectual property program. They are my second choice after Wayne, but only because of cost. If they offer me a decent scholarship, I'll go there in an instant. I was surprised I got a decision so quickly. I must have been an auto-admit for them. I'll wait for a couple weeks to see if I get anymore decisions before deciding on whether or not to pay their seat fee. I'm extremely happy about this because MSU is regarded by many lawyers I know as one of the best schools in the state. WOO HOO!
